Hello, I have a customer that has a 39-year-old Ideal Standard toilet. They would like to replace the toilet seat. But the hinges are fixed on an angle not flat like on a standard toilet. I have attached some pictures.

Has anyone replaced a toilet seat with a set up like this? Or have any advice on what type of toilet seat would work. I’m guessing a toilet seat that goes all the way back would work. Rather than a toilet seat that is restricted to a certain range of movement.

Thanks

Looks like it should have arectangular seat on it, not the standard looking one.

Looks similar to Ideal Michelangello

Ignore the colour, the brackets look angled on this,WC Seat.PNG

Someone has previously replaced the seat with an incorrect shape and colour. Try contacting Ideal Standard:

who should be able to identify the correct part.
