I'd like to install a rigid shower riser on top of it. See specifications below. I have also included a drawing showing the actual dimensions in my bathroom. Based on the dimensions of the rigid shower fitting, the dimension for where it attaches to the wall is too short. Will I need a plumber to custom cut a pipe for that to fit? Can the rigid shower riser be screwed onto my existing mixer?

it should fit straight on

If you cannot attach it directly to the wall you could consider something to bridge the gap, timber etc. Or fit a different riser with an offset

Hi all, I haven't been able to find an old style rigid shower with an offset as suggested by Tom above. Am considering bridging the gap between the wall and top of shower with some wood- that block of wood will need to be 90mm deep to bridge the gap. This is a considerable gap? And I don't have a comfortable vision of it yet.

Do I have any other option to make this work?

Many thanks

Why wood? Can't you use some chrome pipe cut to length that will blend in better with the rigid chrome riser?

I really do not know what the problem for you is. I hope this one will help you out as it has an off set ... but you also could es above sometimes they've got the same pipe size.
