I live in an apartment with communally heating supply which is fed into a heat exchange unit in my apartment which uses the communal feed to heat hot water for taps and underfloor heating.

I have one of these v5012 things fitted which I believe regulates flow between input heated communal feed (rising right) and communal return (horizontal left), have tried to indicate in picture. This was recently adjusted when the unit was serviced, but we have a problem where the water does not stay warm enough. I believe adjusting this could help us achieve warmer water as this is what engineer previously adjusted, but apparently not to sufficient level.

Does anyone know is this something I can adjust myself without too much fuss? What do the numbers on the blue thing mean? Thanks in advance!

Not really something you should be ajusting really you need some specialist equipment to verify the tempreture and flow and its regulation. Cheers kop

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...
