There was a thread a while ago regarding a blow torch, just seen it in Stax (for those that have one near them) £25-99 +vat

Look's o.k and a good price anyone used one?.....regards Turnpin:D

The only downside at the moment I can see is max op temp 1630 c when mapp runs around 2/2300 c

Propane also burns in air at a little less than 2000c, forgive me but I don't quite see the point of that operating temp warning especially when they have a plastic bodied piezo sitting quite near the tip.

Did they have any similar torches without the piezo?

No that was the only type, I might get one as a spare, my sf2 is good but anything happens I'd be lost. So might be worthwhile just keeping it.

Worth it I think, I've used one before and as you hold the gas bottle I found them far easier to handle than our gun style torches like the Roth.

If you're going to get a budget spare you won't do much better than the £40 from 'stool'station. I've been using it 6 months and really like it.
It's a Bullfinch under a different name as far as I can make out.

This one.

Ideal Logic 24, Previous problem was that the hot water was only cold or barely warm if the heating was in use. If heating was off and boiler cold then would get hot water most of the time. Changing the flow cartridge about 2 years ago (when I moved in) solved this problem enough to suffer it as...

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks
