Just turning on central heating for the first time this year, adjusted timings and temperature and switched to automatic mode, and heating turned on out of specified on times. Left it running for a while and then turned off, after a while returned slider to automatic, within specified times and signal sent picture flashed on screen, but no response from receiver box or igniton. Boiler comes on ok on manual setting. Replaced batteries in unit. any ideas please ?

You can re -pair the control to the receiver I believe it explains it in the instructions.
