Any one use the hinge unit on the Riello R40? just wondered how useful it was? :Heating Spare Parts would save putting the burner on the boiler house floor.
 
Yes. It used to be supplied with the burner on the larger new Warmflow boilers years ago.
I find it quite handy if you have space to left and right of burner to manover the burner about.
The hinge can be a bit stiff though.
 
Have also used them on large sectional boilers.
Serviced a wall mounted external Camray 5 today, which
Have a similar hinged support for the RDB.
Excellent idea, makes service easy.
 
Just a heads up, these hinge units do not fit if the back/black casing of the R40 is in place, taking it off makes a nonsense of any FGA readings previously obtained.
