Hello all.

Im in the process of planning to upgrade the boiler in the house, doing the job on my own.

Its currently an old radiator system & old open flued GloWorm Ultimate 40 CF housed in a fireplace fitted back in 1993.

(I presume at one point there would have been a back boiler in there as the remnants of lead pipes are visible)

Has anyone removed one of these or similar boilers from fireplace and the adjoining water cylinder and header tanks in the attic?

Any tips would be welcome.

(And yes I am gas safe registered)
