gas safe inspector

HI, Has any one who was on probation, past it, and how was it ,
did any one had there probation extended.

My Colleague has been registered since 1st April (Newbie). Gas Safe have not contacted him about the probation. He feels it won't happen as he has held his acs for 3 years before he even applied. So 2 months in has not heard a 'dickie bird' and hoping he won't either. How does the land lie with yourself???

Hi in my post gas safe have manpower problems 2 days ago
i said how slow gas safe are, it now nearly 4 weeks for one question ???

I bet your cacking yourself!!! Likely to ask a few questions to see what knowledge you have and then they probably go into sales mode to get more cash out of you guys. Your be fine can't be as bad as getting your ACS tickets.

Let me know how you get on as i am doing my foundation and acs in July/Aug and hopefully register afterwards - i know my colleague would like to know how it all went

HM!

The CORGI man often did yearly inspections as well. If its anything like theirs it will be thorough. They stand and watch you for quite some time asking questions as well and they inspect all your records.

Its a bit like an AC'S of AC OPS but done on an actual job.

The old CORGI also inspected I think your past 3 jobs, before they would accept you..
