Hi all,

Saw this in a relitives house, who, like me, has no idea what it is. The lever looks like a gas meter valve - so I assume it’s gas, although it’s not connected to anything.

Can anyone identify what this is?

It’s up at ceiling height on the 1st floor if it’s of any relevance.

It’s substantial compared to a modern governor. But, as they say, not built like they used to!
