"Over-priced" may not necessarily be confined to being available more cheaply elsewhere. It could be that it's so crap it's not worth 1p.

I'll start the bidding with this

Pegler Olives 15mm 10 Pack

CivilChan Med Duty Chan 100 Flat 150 L=1

The outlet adapter for the above that allows a bottom exit into a plastic 110mm drain. It cost me a tenner, and is simply a 15mm length piece of PVC soil pipe with chamfered ends. To make the joint between the outlet adapter and the above channel, you knock a hole in the channel and make a seal using concrete. Unbelievable.

Two basket strainers and an overflow connector for only £50

McAlpine 1½ / 2 Bowl Waste Kit 1½

Here’s my entry.
Bargain.!!!

Well, that's the Wolseley retail price. So that's what a customer would reasonably expect to pay and what we should expect to charge them, surely?
EDIT - Hang, on, that's with you signed in? And then they wonder why Screwfix is doing so well!

Our kitchen mixer tap has started dripping. Like so much of the plumbing in our almost new build bungalow, it is lacking! The plumber didn't install any isolating cocks in the H&C feed to the tap so how can I identify which of the valves is passing? Shut the whole H&C water system down?

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...
