Doing a install at the moment and we have a casva valve that has been supplied with the kit. There are 3 of us on the job totalling over 50 years experience and we don't have a clue what it is for or were to fitt it in the system. We have 2 risers 1st is mains feeding 6 flats and the second is boated feeding the other 12. So I thought it would be a good idea to ask the knowledge base that is pluming forum.

Thanks Tom So does it just connect it to the top of riser and that's it or does it need to go to atmospher as there is a thread on both sides of valve?

have you got a pic as well never seen one as well

Not the best picture but this is it

The outlet should be piped to outside in case it passes an amount of water during venting, or if it fails.

Hi, guys! Hope you are all well. I have four solenoid valves connected to the main water supply, and they seem to break quite often. I believe it's the pressure that's causing this. I was thinking of adding a pressure valve to control the pressure before it goes through the solenoid valve. Do...

Hi All I had an unvented cylinder fitted about 6 years ago. It only supplies hot water to my shower. I was hoping for a much better flow rate from the shower but it seemed no different from the original combi boiler hot feed. There is (unusually) a lever that lets me select the combi or the...
