Hello there!

I have a Carron sink and tap in my kitchen and I'm wondering if I can replace the Carron tap with a Franke tap?

Many thanks!

Is that it Dave? No mention of pressure, flow or wanting a picture? :p

I'll post pictures if it helps. Not sure about pressure, I'd say we have high pressure as we have gas and the water supply comes direct from the mains to the house.

I dont know what flow is.

I'm assuming most taps have the same fittings and are a standard size?

Before you turn off all the water and rip the old tap out, then discover the flexible pipes are too short or not included, check you've got everything first.

In any case, 2 golden rules when working with water;
1- Have bucket (s) and clothes available.
2- MOST IMPORTANT, fill the kettle(s) up before you turn the water off.

Do you have a Combi Boiler or a hot water cylinder

Ha ha agreed but most manufacturers only state working pressure

Most actually quote minimum operating pressure which typically results in a useless pile of scrap :D
