Morning all,

I rarely come across boilers for which i can not get spares. My region seems to be full of Pottertons and Worcesters.

I occasionally come across a boiler where there are no spares or they are hard to easily get hold of. Regardless of what British Gas or Homeserve say...

I thought it might be useful if everyone put their minds together about those old boilers which are hard or cannot be fixed. And maybe a link to a specialist merchant who still stocks old parts.

So, who goes first? I am had troubles woth the old Baxi Bermudas

What do you need for a bb

Things like BBU's and floor standing Boilers had a lot of universal parts so I don't find them an issue and the later ones with PCB's still have parts available don't they? or has time moved faster than I thought again?
What are you struggling to get?

I managed to get parts in the end but it wasn't as easy as calling up Wolseley and getting it through parts arena.

The main drive behind this thread it to get a list together. This list would then allow us all to not waste our time.

It may be different for other people but i wont fit 2nd hand or reconditioned parts becuasei offer 1 year guarantee on my work. If the customer wants to supply old parts, then i fit them at their own risk.

I hope this makes sense.

***bria heating I get all my old school spares from
