As title my fathers back boiler is firing more than it should , any ideas what this is please , with my limited knowledge would it be that the room stats packed up and its relying on the boiler stat , thanks in advance .
Howy .

best to get a gas safe engy out to check it your best bet is an old timer

There is a real chance of the boiler being dangerously sooted. Is it serviced regularly?

Lie on the floor, look at the flames. If they are yellow and floppy, then turn off immediately - don't leave it for fitter.

Don't forget to let us know the answer

Best to get this checked out they do fire frequently to heat gravity hotwater especially now the cold snap has hit and there is more demand but need ventillation and servicing each year and a saftey check . cheers kop
