Hello all,

hope someone is able to point me in the right direction.

Flat I'm in was getting some work done on the plaster, and the decorators chucked out the brackets while radiators were off the wall.

The landlady's plumber hasn't managed to find replacements, but they look like adjustable universal types. Can someone advise on who might be able to supply replacements of the type shown, or ones that'd be appropriate?

Need top and bottom brackets of the type in the pics.
Cheers for any help.

You have already found a company that suplies these brackets. Have you contacted them? It maybe cheaper in the long run to buy a new modern radiator which will come with brackets.

thanks Steve. I found the manufacturer but haven't got a supplier yet. Am actually the tenant in a flat where the landlady's plumber couldn't find replacements so had to find them myself.

I'd suggested it would be cheaper for her to buy new radiators, but she thinks otherwise. If anyone knows who stocks Erico/Caddy stuff that would be helpful.

thanks

Try Grahams Plumbing Merchants or BDL. They are the older Plumber Merchants and have been in the game since we came out of the caves.
They look like what where known as decorating radiator brackets. The idea was that the top radiator bracket could be undone and the radiator swung down after loosening the flow and return nuts, so you could decorate behind the radiator without having to take it off the wall.
I must admit that might have been the idea and where they got the name from, but if I remember right they did not always work that way and could cause a bit of a mess if the nuts where not slacked off just right. Often one side would bind and the other loosen causing the water, often dirty, in the rad to go all over the floor. It was easier to drain the rad after shutting off the flow and return valves.

Hi, basic question, any insight much appreciated. Looking to have an outdoor tap in my front porch fed from 15mm pex coming up from suspended floor. Pic 1 is inside porch, pex temporarily clipped to give an idea of pipe placement (ignore shoddy blockwork of booted cowboy builder!), Pic 2 is...
