Anyone any ideas on just how accurate calculating an appliance gas rate from a meter actually is? Not that any other easily accessible way of doing it springs to mind. But meters are replaced periodically which suggests that they go off calibration. The working pressure is also going to effect the rate calculation.

I've done many gas rates and often it is bang spot on. By the way you can have the correct burner pressure but the wrong gas rate if the injector/s is/are clogged.
