zoning
Zoning is a method of urban planning in which a municipality or other tier of government divides land into areas called zones, each of which has a set of regulations for new development that differs from other zones. Zones may be defined for a single use (e.g. residential, industrial), they may combine several compatible activities by use, or in the case of form-based zoning, the differing regulations may govern the density, size and shape of allowed buildings whatever their use. The planning rules for each zone, determine whether planning permission for a given development may be granted. Zoning may specify a variety of outright and conditional uses of land. It may indicate the size and dimensions of lots that land may be subdivided into, or the form and scale of buildings. These guidelines are set in order to guide urban growth and development.Zoning is the most common regulatory urban planning method used by local governments in developed countries. Exceptions include the United Kingdom and the City of Houston, Texas.

Thanks in advance
Currently have 2 ensuite rooms that are zoned using motorised valves controlled from a Danfos controller located at the boiler, I would like to install wireless individual room stats that will operate the associated valve and fire the boiler, would this be fairly straight forward? any input...
Up at a big country hall. 4 floors currently run off a big Worcester combi and big Warmflow combi. They run three bathrooms each.
Yes they shouldn't be there but previously occupied by a couple who apparently got what they asked for.

Hello plumbers,

Hi all,
I'm planning a mild upgrade my parents old gravity fed (fully pumped) oil-fired central heating system over Easter. The current setup is rather strange - "non standard" shall we say? This is a rough mock-up of the current plumbing setup:

Who,s doing it and in what situations? What exactly are the rules? I from memory read somewhere that retro fit wise it's all to do with what your replacing. As in a boiler replacement doesn't require any upgrades.
Not even the mighty BG fit zones round my way.
Tbh adding in the extra cost...
