back to wall
Back Against the Wall is an album released in 2005 by Billy Sherwood in collaboration with a number of (mostly) progressive rock artists as a tribute to Pink Floyd's album The Wall. A year later, Sherwood followed it with the release of Return to the Dark Side of the Moon, a tribute to Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon.
Re-released in 2007 with additional bonus tracks as A Tribute To Pink Floyd: Re-Building The Wall.
I’d like to replace the toilet in my house with a back to wall one. The plan is to build a panel on stud work to conceal the cistern and then use the existing soil pipe which goes out to the right.
All the back to wall toilets on Victoria Plum have a cross through the side waste which has...
Hi there,
The issue that I am having is I am building a new house and the plumbers are absolutely hopeless. Being an industrial plumber and spending 8 months on new houses during my apprenticeship. I have a more brighter idea than these fella's. From issues during rough-in-stage pipe being...
I wonder if someone could give me some advice please.
I am doing a bathroom renovation in a 60s house. I would like to move the cast iron waste pipe back to the wall. Then, I want to install Wall-Hung Toilet (please see link to frame bellow). There is a joist next to the back wall. I want to...
Anyone fitted many of these? I am just intrested in how the bath panel usually fixes? With it being curved, is it clips on the bottom? And the wall? Thanks
The Boss wants me to seal the sides and top of the pan against the WC cabinet. Obviously I will seal around the base but I think sides and top will look rubbish.
What do others think?
Hi all, hopefully attached picture is clear. I don't have enough space to get down and across from my wc outlet to the waste tee on floor. The tee in floor is the push fit type with the rubber ring inside, so I'd need to pipe it as well, before getting a flexi in. Anyway, flexi just won't work...
Hi all,
Currently having new bathroom fitted. Toilet brand is as above. Fitter telling me there is no way to secure the flush on this particular brand of toilet so it doesn't turn around at the top. It is not secure, as I would have expected for quite a pricey bog!!!
Any advice please??
Is there an easy way to fit pan fixings to the floor on a back to wall pan? Other than measuring the distance from the wall to the hole and the distance between the inside of the pan width????
What would you class a blow off pipe that's not back to the wall or 150mm off the floor as AR or NCS
Id class it as AR but my boss said NCS but if it was my name going on the ticket id say AR
Hi all. Popped to a ladies house today as she said her toilets was leaking. Long story short the whole job is a bodge. Silicon everywhere. Any way the toilet is a Rak back to wall with a concealed cistern. I need a new flush pipe and bung for the toilet. Does anyone know who may stock these...
Hi again - following all the useful advice previously, I'm going to go with a back to wall toilet / concealed cistern.
Is it possible to install these temporarily until I get the tiling done. I'm just aware that the floor tiles will raise floor level a bit, so if I plumb it in before the tiler...
I'm having 2 Close Coupled Roper Rhodes fully enclosed back to wall toilets fitted. Waste pipe coming through floor not wall so finding it nearly impossible to connect as cant see what you are doing. The first toilet we cut a trap out of the floor so we could get up underneath it...once it was...

Hi chaps,
Have a wee job coming up soon - part of which involves replacing a normal close coupled toilet with a back to wall job.....never fitted one before so was wondering about the pan connector? Would a normal flexi connector do the job or is there a special needed?
cheers as always
dave
The waste outlet is 1ft away from the back wall. Is there any chance? I will build a box 150mm deep for the concealed cistern so need a toilet that has the pan connection quite far back. I believe I have managed to do it once by swan necking a flexi but not sure if it's just an imagination...
Hi , any of you plumbers fitted this toilet? I've done about 5 now and have had leaks with them, cistern doesn't bolt on , just sits on top of pan and two screws at top hold in place , it has the plastic assembly to transfer water from cistern to toilet. Any experiences would be helpful, cheers...

Hi,
Can anyone help/advise please ?
this is my current connection - you can see the cast iron outlet is a fair distance below the wc outlet - but as you can imagine, it's a little prone to blockage :(
The stack is marked 4" - but as you can see, the pan connector didn't want to fit very...
Hi,
I have a small GSI back to wall toilet (I don't know the model) and the pair of seat brackets have come loose in the chinaware. There does not appear to be any access from the front so it looks like I will have to break the silicone bead and unscrew from the floor to pull the whole pan...

I have the possibility of siting a back to wall WC on a stud wall with a void behind that can be opened up above to accommodate a high level cistern; any one know if this can work?

Hi,
Would someone be able to advise me on the fitting of a Villeroy & Boch Subway Back To Wall Close Coupled Pan & Cistern?
I have fitted several Close Coupled BTW WC's before and all have involved securing the cistern to the wall. The V&B BTW cistern does not have any holes to fix the cistern...
