Hi there
I have a few of these taps at work and one is very intermittent and sometimes comes on on its own. I have taken the cover off the control box and there is a green led flashing away. The red one comes on when the solenoid valve clicks on. Quite often I can put my hand near the...
This is right out of my depth. Original problem was that the overflow had been running for so long and so much that the brickwork has started crumbling. Changed the valve. Tested the controls, check seemed to work. Although I thought that the emersion was wired into the shower pump, and the...

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has some real life photos of the more unusual airgaps used in plumbing eg AA, AB etc. After seeing sketches in the WRAS book, would like to see what the real pictures look like?
Thanks in advance.

Struggling to identify the make and model of my shower which needs a new cartridge.
Distinctive feature is that pipes extend out of the wall and have a blanking plate at the front, with pipes then coming off these into the mixer. This is unlike most others I have seen.
This was in the house...
We have a leaking shower head which think may need a new cartridge however struggling to identify manufacturer of concealed shower unit.
I have attached a couple of pictures one which includes a manufacturer logo. Don't want to open it up to remove cartridge yet as will still be under warranty...
Hi all... thank you for your time.
I have a hot water cylinder with a cylinder thermostat mounted about half way up. It is set for 65 degrees C. When it reaches temperature it turns the boiler off (potterton suprima 60L) but it then comes straight back on again and repeats. I can here hot...
I've just drained my standard gravity fed system and replaced a couple of TRVs. I'm just about to re-fill, but I have noticed that a couple of the double radiators only have one bleed screw. Some of them have 2 screws as I would expect, one for each half, at the top on the "inside" of the...

Hi guys,
I've just moved into a new house and noticed the mixer tap in the kitchen is quite loose. I stuck my head under the sink and noticed it wasn't just a normal nut on it that could be tightened easily. I've attached a couple of pics of what I found. Any suggestions on how to tighten it...
