Act Now to Stop War and End Racism (ANSWER), also known as International A.N.S.W.E.R. and the ANSWER Coalition, is a United States–based protest umbrella group consisting of many antiwar and civil rights organizations. Formed in the wake of the September 11th attacks, ANSWER has since helped to organize many of the largest anti-war demonstrations in the United States, including demonstrations of hundreds of thousands against the Iraq War. The group has also organized activities around a variety of other issues, ranging from the Israel/Palestine debate to immigrant rights to Social Security to the extradition of Luis Posada Carriles.ANSWER characterizes itself as anti-imperialist, and its steering committee consists of socialists, communists, civil rights advocates, and left-wing or progressive organizations from the Muslim, Arab, Palestinian, Filipino, Haitian, and Latin American communities. Many of ANSWER's lead organizers had ties to the International Action Center and Workers World Party at the time of ANSWER's founding.ANSWER has faced criticism from other anti-war groups for its affiliations, tactics at demonstrations, and allegedly sectarian approach to joint anti-war work. It also faced criticism from various sources for its claimed anti-Zionist politics.
The organization's national headquarters are in Washington, D.C.
At our wits end. Remodeled a farm house in 2020, installed the water heater and due to appliances being backordered couldn't move in until Nov. of that year. After a hot shower we noticed a terrible smell. We had the lines smoked, venting tested, used a camera on the lines, all from a local...
Evening all, I’ve just left my last job of the day and I’m completely knackered. I’ve just been round to a job I did in January ( manual flush radiator on kicrobore) and whilst I was there the old tower mid position valve was making a racket, so the customer asked me to put a new one on(...

1) If the water in the rads and pipes is so hot that I can't touch the rads, is it possible that I can hear it rushing and coursing through the rads and pipes? I've been told the noise is air in the system, but I'm wondering if it's boiling hot water instead.
2) When...
Hi, I have just joined to understand more about the plumbing industry. If you are a plumber, can you spare me 15 minutes of your time to answer some questions? Any answers I receive will be kept confidential and not shared with anyone. Many thanks Elaine
Oh dear
My thread was closed by the closed minded moderator and the nonsense that I need a GSR engineer to answer a question. I have never met a more arrogant bunch of knuckle draggers as you lot who tar everyone with the same brush. Forum? my arse it's a closed shop for people who can't get...

Any advice on the "best" one for 4 bed 2 bathrooms? Combination of price/quality/reliability/customer service?
Thanks to everybody who's helped me out thus far!
can someone show me where it is written in law that it is illegal for a homeowner to remove the case of their own boiler unless they are gsr? not touching any gas parts just looking for leak in cold water supply.
The two most common branded products, Sentinel and Fernox, offer simple test kits for their own products, they claim that they are different chemicals, so their test kits are specific to their product. Additionally not all our clients us the 'retail' brands.

Is it a over heating stat problem or possibly diverter valve? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks

On my combi boiler, if my diverter valve was sticking or not moving as freely as it should be, could that cause some of my rads to heat and some to stay cold? Or is it one or the other (hot water or heating)
Having problems with two cold rads and have tried everything and now after days of...
Hi all,
I'm considering buying a Saniflo Saniaccess unit to replace our existing macerator which is dead. These units appear to be much easier to access in situ with separate panels for the macerator and the float (switch?) which is why I'm leaning towards one. I just wondered if anyone has any...
I have 28mm pipework for the flow and return to my boiler. This is reduced to 22mm as shown in the simple drawing below.
From my layman's point of view I think it would be far better to have 28mm all the way to where the pipework connects to the 22mm pipes using something similar to a 22mm x...
