Hi, have a basin sink with monobloc mixer tap (think it's "Home of Ultra Atena Mono Basin Mixer) which has a leak in the hot water flex hose connection. The flex hose for hot water appears to be 10mm thread going into mixer tap and built in service valve at the other end, which then connects compression style to 15mm copper pipe. The cold water flex hose connection looks standard with 10mm thread at tap end and compression fitting at 15mm to copper pipe.
I have been trying to find a replacement monobloc flex hose for the hot water which has the 10mm thread at tap end and built in service valve + 15mm compression but can't find one. Any suggestions? I have attached a picture of the flex hose with service valve - unless it's me being stupid?!
All help appreciated.

Would have thought you would have found it hard to find flexi with built in isolation valve, should think will have to be fitted extra,as in picture

imho

SPB the service valve inst actually connected to the flexi, its just been screwed into the 1'2 female end of the flexi hose. if you isolate the supple at the valve you can unscrew both end of flexi and bob to plumbers merchant with it they should be able to match
(unless your positive its 10mm other possibility is that its 12mm). If for some reason they don't have any with a 1/2" female connection then get one with a normal compression end + a 15mm olive and a 1/2" female nut and put a short length of copper between iso and flexi. you will probably need to loosen / remove tap to screw new tail in but you may get lucky.
hope i have explained this well enough if you need clarification just ask

just buy a flexi hose, buy an isolation valve and bobs your uncle

thats what i thought they were any way

I actually have a pair that i pulled of a new tap with me if you want them (for the right £), the install already had isolation and i used copper tails

Thanks for the advice everyone...I'm going to practice on my basin mixer taps at home, as they need isolation valves fitted.

sorry to go on....!

I'm just changing connections from cold/hot water feeds to Grohe 10yr old basin mixer tap and wish I had never started. The reason I wanted to change to flex hose was that the current connections had no service valve and also to get some practice in! Had both 10mm and 12mm flex hose + service valves to hand. Unfortunately the mixer tap connections in the 10yr old Grohe does not appear to take either a 10mm or 12mm screw thread. It looked like a copper push fit holding the hot/cold feed into mixer tap - I can see a thread but it's probably 11mm?! In getting the cold/hot pipe connections out (not screw thread!) I damaged the pipes, so can only think I will have to get a new mixer tap. The single hole in basin is 35mm. Do all modern mixer taps for single 35mm hole take either a 10mm or 12mm flex hose screw thread connection....please say yes!?
