Last minute add-on to a job was quoting for was to replace a broken metal gully grid. Never bought one before, measured it with cheap key-ring tape type measure I have in pocket as 22cm by 22cm (had parked a good distance away and forgot normal tape measure) - the grid itself measured that.

Looking at sizes online, modern ones seem to be 150mm square, so they're out. Sites selling metal ones seem to be in whole inches: 6", 7", 8" or 9". 22cm = 8.66 inches, 9" = 229mm so I'm guessing it must be a 9 inch one as a margin of error in measurement of 9mm is not unreasonable to imagine.

At £22 a pop wanted to check if that sounds right. This isn't a picture of the one in question but it is a picture of another one right round the corner from it which I suspect it was very much like - if not identical to.

I'm sure if you take that info and pic into somewhere like Travis Perkins they'll be able to sort you out (and refund if it's the wrong size or something).
