just had a call from a customer wh s a worcester 9.24evidently for some time he has only been able to get hot water when the heatings on ok that sounds like diphram or threeway valve then he said but now its going to lock out when he runs a tap any suggestions ? im hopn to get a boiler change out of it but just want pointers to possibe causes chances are ill get there and the fan will be one

9.24 overheat could be a simple as a sensor or more likely muck/sludge. Not worth resolving due to cost maybe :) Also spot on regards hot water only with C/H ... Depending on the model could mean replacing diverter or diaphragm, depending on whether you can do the diaphragm or not due to positon...!

not forgetting the divertors obsolete on 9.24,it has a 1/2 swivel on a spigot for the cold in much like a 1/2 swivel on the normal Giannini e type diverters we use flat 1,2inch washers different set up on the 9.24 if the screws near the weap hole come out no problem you can take the base off and fit it to a normal e type if the have rotted in your stuffed better to advise replacement Steve IMHO

Ideal Logic 24, Previous problem was that the hot water was only cold or barely warm if the heating was in use. If heating was off and boiler cold then would get hot water most of the time. Changing the flow cartridge about 2 years ago (when I moved in) solved this problem enough to suffer it as...

Hello all, I’m replacing a concrete paving slab patio in the back yard. The original patio used 50mm deep concrete slabs on hardcore & sand. I’m planning to pour a 100mm deep concrete patio on 100mm hardcore. In order to achieve the same final height to line up with the rest of the patio, I...
