Anyone know off the cuff the distance for flue to internal corner on a worcester gs 28 i ?

I know that 300mm is general rule of thumb but does it say anything diffeent in the MI'S?

i thought worcesters were 150mm im not sure though as 300mm is defo rule of thumb normally ill check the mi for you when im in my office in the morning

Basically a frend of mine installed the boiler there and he is quite inexperienced but like sto talk himself up .Today i was outside said property chatting to someone and noticed the flue was about 100mm from internal coner at max , now i know he always installs worcesters so wondering if boiler MI's state anything different before i take delight in texting him hios cock up .I also noticed couple other possible issues on external observation .
Thing is its quite sad that i notice flue's when walking driving around :whatchutalkingabout

I think we all notice flues when we are driving about - your not the only one :)

dont worry about it, its wrong but isnt it only classed as ncs if its working ok ? chances are it will be

I know its only a NTCS but surely its not right to install something NTCS even if its operating correctly. Gas safe would drag you over the coals for this I'd imagine

If by dragging you over the coals you mean pay some money to re-do your core fad safety you're possibly right.

I think the distance can halved if you use a plume management kit and the exhaust is more than 300mm away.

the measurement can be altered by manufacture if they test it, if i remember years ago ideal classic was altered to 50mm. wimpy homes wanted to fit the boilers in certain positions, ideal wanting sales of there boiler so tested and approved the measurement.

300mm.

Need to look at number 13, in the MI's it states: "300mm to an internal or external corner"

Hi guys. I'm trying to identify a toilet model before ordering a seat for a customer. I went to what used to be a Roca stockist (they no longer are) and one of the guys there reckoned it might be "The Gap". I went to the new stockist and the guy there disagreed it was "The Gap" and that he'd...
