surely we are due the latest numpty of the week pretty soon i guess,
what do you recon, a boiler one?.

last weeks numpty of the week is without a doubt hands down yo1

i know he would probably post something like "I was doing a cp12 the other day and noticed that the flue from the boiler was terminating inside the room, should i fix it or is it up to the owner?"

apparently if its only a small leak coming into the house its ok

I liked the recommendation of placing and air frenshener though

yeah it was just a small leak... article-2016512-0D11F27800000578-275_634x421.jpg (from redsaws post)

i would like to know where he read that you were allowed a drop on pipework though, he claimed he read it on this site, think hes talkin peesh because anyone who said that would have been corrected

Well, personally allthough he is clearly dangerous. I think banning him is not the answer. He came on to ask a question. ( a stupid one) he got educated and hopefully he rushed round that persons house the next morning and fixed the gas leak.

Showing people the door when they show willing is silly. Its the people out there who genuinely don't give a damn that are really dangerous. The ones who's work shows up in the GS mag every month.

Not defending him. Clearly he needs more training, but at least he is bothered enough to ask the question.

just the way people were talking i assumed he was kicked out.....think he kicked himself out then :p

Yeah, I think he slinked off with his tail between his legs.

Still who knows what has been averted if he takes heed and goes and fixes that leak.

since most people have at least two diffent place to post from internet and mobile can you really see if he comes back under another name?

yes steve, once banned from this forum its impossible to re-join without us knowing the previous name and who it is....unless you move to another country.
dont try it.lol.

Every two weeks or so I have to go and top up the system because the hot taps are running cold. Boiler display is flashing 0.6 bar and I fill up to 1.3. I've had an engineer look inside the boiler and he can't see anything wrong. I've checked the pipes all over the house and cannot see any...

Hi bit of a weird issue, I installed a grohe bathroom tap successfully 2 months ago bought from screwfix. Last week the right hand hot tap makes a squeak noise as I turn it on or off, left tap is 100% perfect and noiseless. This grohe tap is like one unit, so no screw notch or way I can remove...

Hi all. Hope you have all been keeping well. A while back I decided I only wanted to fit one brand of boiler and decided on Viessmann due to space for servicing and changing parts if ever needing to. I am finding my decision rather hard due to the different clearances on flue runs and cupboards...

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...

I was stupid enough not to check the position of the pipes under the tiles when installing a toilet and drilled right through the center of a 16 mm copper water pipe. I exposed the pipe by removing a ~30cm section of the plastic sleeve and a ~10 cm section of the pipe around the hole. Several...
