Hi All,

Can you help me track down spares of the cartridge shown below. Its taken from a Basin Mixer Tap with a Swivel Spout. Only info customer has found is a guarantee card for 'TapMate' who I believe are now owned by Bristan. I have looked on the Bristan spares website and hardly any of the images load, I then tried calling them but gave up after 20mins on hold.

In all my happy snapping I totally forgot to take one of the actual tap! Its very marginally like this one in design [DLMURL="http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav.jsp?action=detail&fh_secondid=9986502&fh_view_size=12&fh_start_index=24&fh_eds=%3f&fh_location=%2f%2fcatalog01%2fen_GB%2fcategories%3C%7B9372014%7D%2fcategories%3C%7B9372035%7D%2fcategories%3C%7B9372173%7D%2fspecificationsProductType%3dbasin_taps%2fspecificationsSpecificProductType%3done_hole_basin_taps&fh_refview=lister&ts=1294328277276&isSearch=false"]http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav.jsp?action=detail&fh_secondid=9986502&fh_view_size=12&fh_start_index=24&fh_eds=%3f&fh_location=%2f%2fcatalog01%2fen_GB%2fcategories%3C{9372014}%2fcategories%3C{9372035}%2fcategories%3C{9372173}%2fspecificationsProductType%3dbasin_taps%2fspecificationsSpecificProductType%3done_hole_basin_taps&fh_refview=lister&ts=1294328277276&isSearch=false

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Are they not just quarter turn tapheads. Most plumbers merchants sell them. Just watch the spindle size.

best bet is to send an image to the manufacturer then as they all look pretty much the same unttil you fit it

Thanks, have just tried this. Not very impressed with their website, hardly any of the images work!

Problem I find with that is that the Merchants have the valves vacuum sealed in plastic so won't let you stand there trying them all. Or is this only Plumb Centre?

just plumb center i asked for something that was on the shelf 6ft away the other day and they wouldnt sell it as it wasnt on the computer

B and Q have them on display. Ok, vacuum sealed packaging but atleast you can get a closer look when someone else rips open the package.

oh the pcket that was ripped before you got to it? lol :):):)

there are loads of CD valves on the market so good luck

if its not for your self I would recommend a new tap

try here, they seem to have a lot with all the dimensions etc. [DLMURL="http://www.ypcb.co.uk/"]Lunns.net[/DLMURL] click on ceramic disc cartridges. quite a few tapmate options.

Hi, basic question, any insight much appreciated. Looking to have an outdoor tap in my front porch fed from 15mm pex coming up from suspended floor. Pic 1 is inside porch, pex temporarily clipped to give an idea of pipe placement (ignore shoddy blockwork of booted cowboy builder!), Pic 2 is...

Hi guys. I'm trying to identify a toilet model before ordering a seat for a customer. I went to what used to be a Roca stockist (they no longer are) and one of the guys there reckoned it might be "The Gap". I went to the new stockist and the guy there disagreed it was "The Gap" and that he'd...
