get baxi out phone up on the works number tomorrow and they will be there Thursdays

you tried manually giving it a spin via the slot?

did you notice the baxi filling loop is the same as the worcesters :D

tbh i never use / fit on board filling loops find there too much hassle and the customer cant top them up / has problems with them

I have, but didn’t want to say anything :p:D

only reason i say i once got one that was Worcester stamped felt wrong puting it on :D
I got one for you. Customer choose a Nabis bar mixer from Part Centre. I order it, go and collect it, take it out of a sealed box. Has Bristan stamped all over it. Customer was well happy. :p:D:D

Did you complete the purge cycle?
I read they don’t work until it’s complete

In a fashion Scott i was getting on with other stuff while it was doing it got the various codes needed then hey presto pump goosed I'm guessing it wouldn't reset as to much tempreture rise . Cheers kop

And the reset buttons don’t engage properly so you are pushing but nothing is happening

Yes mate just blinking that fault code wont reset my thinking is until pumps up and running it not sensing any flow through heat ex time will tell .

125 is low flow and grund had / have a bad batch of pumps sticking nornmally manually turn them / spin to free them then book the job in

Design looks shocking looks like a rebadged cheap foreign boiler. Wouldn't have one or fit one

I've fitted 6/7 not had a problem.

A jig is only good when you haven't got a lot of room underneath otherwise it doesnt make life too difficult.

The purge mode is no different to the likes of the vaillant. Gives you a few minutes to tidy up or cement up the flue etc.

Not a big fan of the filling loops not because they are a faf as they are easier to fit than the old ones. But I liked to leave it filling and have a run round just to check for leaks. It is good for customers though as it's pretty much fool proof for them.

All manufacturers have problems with new boilers I've had Worcester vaillant viessman and ideal all come faulty out of the box. Phone them up and they will come out next day. It's no different to us really we have problems it's how we deal with them that sets us apart from the others.

Worked quite well in the end bud easy to set up and quiet in operation connected a Honeywell T4 wireless programmable thermostat for boiler plus, for the money theres worse out there. Cheers kop

They seem good value for money
Might try one over a logic

I had problems with 2 baxi intecs I fitted and i have worked on a loads more they always seem to play up that's what put me off the 600 series they are very similar inside , I have still been fitting the duo - tec and platinum as my Landlord type boiler but you have to move with the times I guess and you dont know what they are like till you try one problems out the box are never a good start , on the plus side it's got a metal casing time will tell Scott . Cheers kop
