hi
Thanks for taking time to reading this
I’ve not come across a cylinder like this before
Oil boiler ,indirect cylinder works find but what’s going on up top please
Also there’s a bathroom radiator on the hot water side which is fine I understand that
Hope you can shed some light thanks

Looks like a prv at the back coming in but I’ve never seen a expansion vessel on a older cylinder
Early unvented ?
All the best

Not the best pic Sorry

Hmm. I spoke to the BBA some while ago. A guy who was orig committee setting up UVCs in 1985. He told me that no copper cylinder was BBA approved as they were too weak.
Could this therefore be someone's attempt at creating one? Ive certainly seen that - a block of flats in Harrogate where all the cylinders were std Jewsons withsome cont attached. Henxh contact with BBA. Just a thought.

Hi, I'm looking to purchase a 300L unvented indirect cylinder to work with a standard heat only boiler. I may have solar panels in the future, but likely the PV kind rather than the thermal kind, and won't be having heat pump in the future. So the cylinder would be connected to the boiler at...
