Hi. I have a shower that is leaking through the ceiling when in use. I believe it's just the sealant/grout that is defective, but want the base uplifted and the plumbing underneath double-checked just in case. Then need shower base re-fitted and would like new sealant and grout in shower cubicle.

I have had a couple of quotes already from MyBuilder website and they seem a bit steep!

I also have a couple of other bathroom-related jobs that aren't as urgent but I want doing - if the price is right and I find a good tradesman.

Aylesbury area. Cash price preferred ;)

Cheers!

How much have they quoted ?

I can tell you already it's not a cheap job.

If sealant and grout has gone then it depends on damage to the structures behind.

It will probably open up a real can of worms.

I want to replace two of the flexible hoses that feed the shower mixer valve. I don't like how they have been bent at a right angle. All the fitting in our bathroom are these pushfit fittings. I don't know the brand. Fortunately, I have removed some sections of pipework in the bathroom and kept...
