Toilet seats are pretty universal, and the widths between the 2 screw points are adjustable, I’d measure the width between the holes connecting the seat to the pan and go down B&Q (check the measurements against what they have on offer) I’m sure you’ll find one that fits.
 
A universal “D-shaped” from plumbers merchants should do that. However I think the one you have can he adjusted to give a much better fit than you currently have!

Less and less so nowadays mate. Toilets seats are not a 10 minute job anymore
 
Get several jobs these days from customers who buy a seat and take it home only to get flummoxed by the idiograms.
In fact quite often they don't even get as far as removing the old seat.
