Hi
Hoping somebody could give me a heads up regarding this problem I've discovered on my Greenstar boiler.
Hoping its just a seal or washer replacement and possibly something I could do myself.
It's a slow leak starting at the top in and around the yellow locking clip and running down back of pump.
Drips about once every 10 seconds and only when heating is switched on.
Running hot water taps doesn't seem to affect it.
Any help much appreciated.

I've also included a 'WeTransfer' link showing a video of the leak (Video active til 25 November 2018).

Unless you have a current gas certificate of competence you should not even be in this boiler , taking the cover off is defined as work to a gas appliance . Your home insurance is now invalid . Call an expert on Monday who is gas safe registered. You can turn off the central heating feed and return valves below the boiler to prevent any more water leaking but that’s it for you , Rob Foster aka centralheatking
If you close these valves turn off boiler ,all controls to off

This issue arose about a year ago. Does anyone have an idea why I occasionally hear (about once every hour or longer) a hammer related noise coming from my copper water pipes when no water is being used? It basically sounds like the noise you hear after the water shuts off when your toilet bowl...

Hi, new to this forum. I hope someone experienced out there can help me find the fix. We recently finished a building project and had a major re-design/move of all of our hot water (megaflo), boiler and central heating system. I am not a plumber nor do I know much about plumbing but I know...

Hi I have a leak from one of the pipes, going into the hot water cylinder, in the airing cupboard. There are 2 pipes going into the cylinder on the left hand side, (I think it is called a vented cylinder - colder water tank in loft) and it is the top pipe which is leaking, (the one with yellow...

Disclaimer: I know very little about boilers so sorry if my assumptions are way off! From testing by logging energy usage, and that if I turn the boiler on the meter lights up like a Christmas tree, it seems our Santon PremierPlus boiler (PP170E) is constantly running causing extreme energy...
