It will be in the installation and maintenance instructions, but that is about all I would tell a member of the public to try. Anything else get a Gas Safe Registered Engineer to deal with it. Its all too easy to make a boiler unsafe.
5 pipes? Please explain your plan!
If it is meant for 2 zones then could you not move the valves into the house, if not then may need non return valves if combining the two returns.
I'm sure he did, but if the system has been partly/fully drained then I'm assuming he vented the heat exchanger in side the boiler after refilling? If so then the next thing I'd do is turn off any rads that are heating to see if the others push through any air. Failing that it's check/replace...
Just been reading your past posts, two questions, did you say that it was a Worcester Greenstar boiler? If so what model and have you got a room stat somewhere in the house? Cheers
Boiler goes to overheat (flashing red at A indicator) but heat is getting out of boiler with out any problem.
Have changed both temperature sensors and overheat stat but still does it.
Doesn't happen all the time and can cut in and out for long periods without problem.
Any ideas?
