EP3002 no heating but hot water fine

Thank you. I thought the same as the old one had that but I didn't see one on the new version. I might have missed it though so will take another look later.

EP3002 no heating but hot water fine

Evening all. I've not needed to post on here for a while but it's silly season again and one of my first breakdowns has me scratching my head a bit. EP2002 blown as was the pump which had started leaking. Replaced both, pump now runs when heating demand is present but it doesn't warm up. It's...

Advice on work done by gas safe engineer

To echo others. Filter isn't in the ideal place, but better there than not at all. Water tank looks like the old tank feeding the heating so it is no longer in use. How does the big tank look? That's the one that he should have cleaned. It doesn't look like the neatest install ever but you might...

    Vented system to Combi

Stupid question. You have had the gas checked to make sure you haven't got a leak I assume.

    Vented system to Combi

I've just done a similar quote. It's for a customer that I have been working for for a couple of years so looking after him. I'm twice that price though and that's far from expensive. Fair play to them if they do a good job. In answer to your original question, is pretty much what you think of...

What tolerance is allowed on smart meters

All sorted. Traced and repaired. Would still be curious to know. As Shaun says, still serious allieda with appliances connected and no smell of gas (which I have always thought a joke personally but we see to have multiple threads with this debate so I don't want this to be a repeat!!)

What tolerance is allowed on smart meters

Morning all, I'm just about to head out to a leak where the TOFOs have been after fitting a smart meter. Just had a thought, I assume the tolerances with appliances connected are still the same as normal. That sounds like a stupid question but I just wanted to double check incase it fits this...

Glow worm 30ci won't stay alight

But it lights and stays alight with so cases off. My thoughts were partially blocked gas run so not enough gas is getting through to the burner so it's pulling it out too quickly to ignite, I can't see the flames lifting though when the case is on, they just slowly go out

Glow worm 30ci won't stay alight

Only trouble is there is a pipe (think it was the filing loop but didn't check) blocking the gas valve making it hard to get to the test point on the valve.

Glow worm 30ci won't stay alight

Thanks chaps. I will try and go back and check that. The PCB was replaced last year (I know that doesn't mean it won't go again) so I didn't think it could be that.

Glow worm 30ci won't stay alight

Afternoon chaps, I'm at a lose. I have just come away from a job wlempty pockets as couldn't fix the problem. Scenario. Glow worm 30ci combi won't fire. It sparks, fires on low flame but goes out after 5-10 seconds and then goes to F1. With all cases off right back to burner, it stays on. So...

Fast Track courses what's the truth? Ex Military, needs advice.

Time for my 2 pence. I had pretty much never picked up a hand tool in my life. I was in the fortunate position in 2008 that our mortgage was stupidly low, no kids and but if money in the bank. I was however in s job where I was working a lot of hours and every weekend so decided it was time for...

As you've been so helpful already..

I'm being lazy as I'm sure MIs tell me somewhere. Doing an install with an unvented cylinder (not a problem in itself) they also want a water softner, is it able to go through the softner before getting to the multi function valve or will it reduce the flow and pressure down too much?
