This is an asbestos soil joint - looks similar to yours to me you can just make out the makers name Everite stamped on it.
Maybe you can see something on yours but only if you can do so without disturbing it.

If I've understood your description then no you can't put a pump on the hot water system as it is.
You will need to put an open vent pipe in before any outlets or go for an unvented system or maybe some other potion.
Best to get a plumber to take a look and advise what your best / most viable...
If you've done a resistance test on the element then you've done more than a lot of guys do.
Even still you need to be qualified (G3)to do the work, just the way it is now.
Not sure I've understood your question - you can have a y plan system with a 2 port safety valve for the uv cylinder but you can't have a mix of 2 & 3 port valves for zoning.

Yes you can do this.
Remove the link between L and HW and wire the hw side of the dual channel programmer here.
Wire the CH side of the programmer between L and CH.
Just bear in mind if the store temperature drops below 60 overnight then when it turns back on in the morning the heating pump...
quick update
stuck a litre of veg oil in the tank to help the fuel pump and have kept it brimmed with diesel for the last 250 miles with no probs so hopefully have got away with it !
