Hello ,

Bought a ex display tap and sink the other day and I was wondering what Flexi pipe I need here. I want a compression fitting the other end but what goes at this end.

The end with the o-ring is threaded and it copper pipe looks like it pressed into the casting of the tap.

If anyone could send me a link that would be great.

Many Thanks

Why does that tap look strange? Aren’t English taps normally female inside the tap and require 12mm male flexi’s? Or am I missing something? Where did you get it from?

Homebase on an Ideal standard Sink as an ex display. Yes I thought there should be female holes and not males. I can't find a Flexi to fit....

Can the braided hose come off the tails leaving the Brass fittings in the tap guy's ?

Never seen it before. I would try and take them out. But that’s just me. Or call Ideal standard tech department.

i would say they have to come out

your not going to find anything thats going to be easy

the brass will either be m10 or m12 (normally m10)

Had a good spout of m12 recently mate. All when customers have called me to fit only and brought online. They could be m10 But i have s**t for brains and poor eyesmost of the time :D

yea just depends how much space they have :D

Looks like someone has pulled off the braided hoses.
The inserts will unscrew out and should be 1/4 (8mm)

My guess is that's an 'easyfix' tap, made to be able to fit from above (sort of) there's a base part that it goes into, the tails attach to the base, not the tap.
They don’t have the 8mm threaded rod that goes through the worktop
