Hello everyone.

I'm not sure if anyone can help me but I'm wanting to do my Gas Safe. I'll be able to do my domestic with no problem (I work for a Gas Safe engineer) and he wants me to do my gas.

Once I've managed to pass my core gas I want to progress on to commercial. I don't want to just pass the course I want to actually know what I'm doing in regards to not only gas but the plumbing and heating side as well. I've come across some jobs where there's a boiler house and even though I can point out most of the components in that room I have a very rough idea of what is going on which is quite embarrassing really considering I'm the man that's meant to know.

I know commercial is a different ball game in comparison to domestic but I want to be able to introduce commercial into our company.

What sort of courses should I be looking for? Are there any out there?

Thanks!

You really need to work with a Commercial Heating company. You cannot learn it in college.

Also do a min of 5 years domestic gas work first

33 years on commercial 11 years on domestic and still learning
