hello,
I am designing a soil pipe for a timber bungalow that I am building where the soil vent pipe needs to be offset on a gable wall away from the main soil pipe. I have put in a link to a drawing I have made with my idea. Your advice is welcomed

Dropbox - plumbing layout (1).pdf

Thanks

This might be a daft reply but, Two 45 deg bends and a piece between?
If it's the travel length you want to calculate, then you need the two centres times 1.414 less the legs. (for 45 deg).
I don't fully understand the problem so if I have not answered it, please let me know

that’s what I was thinking. Do I put the Y branch for the soil vent so that the toilet feeds into the Y or the vent pipe feeds into the Y. Can you have any horizontal sections in the air vent pipe?

It's just a vent isn't it?
As long as it goes past any opening into the building by 3 foot it's fine.

If I understand what you're asking and you mean a junction with the WC entering the branch and the vent off the top, yes.

Yes. I think the drawing shows it more clearly than I can explain it

I see what you mean. Just studied pic a bit closer.
Any other vents ?
Why take it around the house? is there a reason why it can't come up where the WC Soil exits the building ?

No other vents planned. I wanted to keep the stack pipe out of view as that gable is out of sight. Also keeps pipe from going through the roof or round the roof with an offset

What does it say on the drawing in the corner?
Does it say pumping station?
Is it not main sewer?

Should be ok however check the MI`s or call them with the measurements.
