Hi all,
I'm a novice so go easy ;-)
I have a Rothenberger SuperFire 2 torch and would like some advice as to how to safely remove the tip from the gas canister as it is advised to store them separately when not in use? The advice slip says when storing, turn the control knob to the ON...

I like it...needle bearings everwhere, less stress on the hands, rock hard cutting wheel + spare, one size required and no pipe deformation.
Evening All,
I've just had a mare of a day digging up a kitchen floor trying to re-route pipes. Can anyone recommend some kind of pipe detector that will detect pipes in concrete?

After not doing plumbing for alot of years my tools could probably do with an upgrade eg my bacho 10,12 inches open about as wide as a 6inch wide jaw now.
I see the armeg jaws for taps so probably going pick up them.
Also see knipex adjustable wrench that looked good.
Any tool ideas to make life...
Been plumbing a while now using Footprint Grips and a selection of spanners. Is there a spanner available that will easily hold a Tee compression fitting while tightening centre nut ?
Just got myself a new 15/22mm pipe bender and am looking for a container. I have seen a couple of bespoke bags, but would rather a solid case of some form, if available.
Any ideas or pointers as to a suitable solid container?

Does anyone out there have experience of a water CONDITIONER - I don't want a water softener installed and I wondered if these really work or just a gimmick?
I would appreciate any information/reviews from either owners or plumbers please.
Hi all. I hope you are keeping well.
I just had all my hand tools pinched from the side door of a house as I was packing up. Probably about £300 worth. Is it worth claiming on my insurance or as it is only £300 just pay for new tools. Would my premium go up that much is basically what I am...
Does anyone out there have a JTP shower or JTP taps installed? (previously known as Just Taps Plus).
Have you found a JTP shower and taps durable and reliable for years after installation? And straightforward to install?
JTP is being offered by a number of our local bathroom retailers and...
Hi Guys,
I run my own firm and always struggle to find good dust sheets like the British Gas ones.
Heavy cotton in a colour other than cream with company logo at a decent price is all I’m after!!
So I’ve decided to source and make my own version and just wanted to get a idea if people would be...
I'm looking for a hole cutter or hole punch that you would use to cut a hole in a stainless steel sink for the waste to install into. Standard hole punches between 40 and 100mm for use with a hydraulic hand tool are available but I need a punch that makes the recess as well or a separate...
Hi all.
Was looking at the Milwaukee transfer pump and wondering if it was fit for purpose ?
I’m doing new build and use a drill pump to pressure test and thought this piece of kit might make life a bit easier ?
Any thoughts please? Thank you.
I need to replace 13 TRVs due to sticking issues, I saw that Honeywell do a tool to remove and exchange the TRV inserts', this will save me draining the system and saving time, anyone know where I could hire one from?
Cheers
