Are guides generally interchangeable between different brands or are they specific to a particular brand/model?
In use, is there any difference between alloy and steel guides ie is one type considered...

Hope you can help with a central heating issue. I tried turning the central heating on today but without success. The orange light that usually comes on when the heating is triggered isn't illuminating - I've tried the once, twice and fully on modes and it doesn't come on in any of these...

Armeg jaw droppers. I hears good things and I like a new toy. But both the machine screws on one of them that hold the sliding jaws wouldn't bite and stay in place - no matter how hard I tightened them. Resorted to a fibre washer.
Hopefully things will improve.
