Hi,
Recently my gas-fired central heating system was updated to two zones each operated by its own programmable Honeywell thermostat , 1) main house & 2) annex.
Both work except the one heats up the rads on both sides, the other heats up only his own side.
Can you please explain what would...
Who,s doing it and in what situations? What exactly are the rules? I from memory read somewhere that retro fit wise it's all to do with what your replacing. As in a boiler replacement doesn't require any upgrades.
Not even the mighty BG fit zones round my way.
Tbh adding in the extra cost...

In other words they were made better years ago than the carp the sell now.

Hi,
I had a crew refit my bathroom a few years back and they installed a mixer shower which I've managed to identify as a Zipponi 1070C:

The temperature valve has, over the years, seized and I've been able to free it with WD40 and a...
Evening chaps
Only a little 5 ltr thing and when I removed the element etc the sacrificial anode literally crumbled away in my hands. The element itself seems OK although it is a little scaled up.
Was wondering is it worth, cheap, and hassle free to just replace this anode or is it better to...
Has anyone got or fitted a Zip tap or one like it as Mrs Ted has been speaking to one of her posh friends and has been told how good they are bla bla bla and wants to know why we haven't got one if they are soooo good. Lost for an answer with a quivering bottom lip, ixplained that the early ones...
Thought I had a problem with an Ariston 30L water heater in a village hall whereby the hot water flow has steadily reduced to almost nothing over a period of a year. When you open the hot water tap you get a burst of water then it slows and stops after only a small amount has come out...

Original plan as a Mc Alpine tundish and overflow pipe.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

Only options I have is to vent it direct to outside - but was worried about it possibly discharging boiling...

Do you run the initial hot water feed in 22mm and then branch down to 15mm on each basin?

Hi, I have a 300lt (yes its about 5ft high, 2ft wide) expansion vessel that assists in maintaining our cold water pressure during high demands (3 story 5 showers). It has been working well over the last few years but recently the air pressure has dropped. I have found the leak, it is the top...
