People talk about how their bathroom radiator or heated towel rail is plumbed into the hot water rather than the central heating circuit. This means when the central heating is off the radiator can still get hot (to dry towels etc). How is this achieved? Does the radiator have to be plumbed...

Hi, I hope some one can help me. I have a blocked toilet and was trying to sort it out myself because it was only 2weeks ago that I paid £80 for a drain to be cleared when an outside drain was blocked. My only toilet in the house is blocked. I tried Mr Muscle which didn't do anything. My dad...

Grateful if someone could help with this (probably very basic) problem. I have two of my radiators turned to 'off' yet when the heating is on, they both pump out heat full blast. Other radiators in the house stay off when turned to this setting- any ideas why this might be happening? Thanks

Am about to re-do a customers first floor bathroom where the stub stack has an air emittance valve roughly 1 meter above a swept T on the main discharge pipe. If I could lower the valve to 'just' above the swept T the top of the valve would come below the top of the bath and would sit out of...

Hi, Can anyone advise me on how to stop my dual-flush Vitra toilet running constantly? Firstly, how do I open the cistern lid? The toilet was fitted in our new house in late 2007. Any help greatly appreciated. I have isolated the in-line valve & flushed the cistern.
