Hello When I choose the the venting function what does it actually do? Do the pump have its own vent hole? Do I need to vent the radiators while it's doing this? Thanks Chris

Hello My pump makes an odd sound... see attached file. Is this normal? Tried venting/bleeding it but no difference. Same sound whether the hot water or CH is on. Changing the pump speed doesn't help. Thanks Chris

Hi all, I was reading about these new microwave boilers that are due to come out from Heatwayv (A new way to transform how we heat our homes | Heat Wayv - https://www.heatwayv.com/), they seem to be a drop-in replacement for your old gas boiler, but with electrickery costing about 5 times as...

I've got an older Vaillant Ecotec combi with a 130 Timeswitch that's broken, can the newer 150 timeswitch be used on it rather than paying over the odds for a 130? I know you can put the pins in a couple of different positions but can't remember if it fits the older ones or not. Thanks in advance

Hi, I installed Sime Brava One 30 BF on my 150 Sqare meters home. I also installed an external water pump at the hot water outlet to help the internal pump to push the water 4 floors up (I installed it instead of an old diesel boiler, so I had to use the old infrastructure). I set the heating...

I reckon if I did a survey of 100 heating engineers, asking what would they recommend for heating a granny annexe being built onto the side of my house, in place of the garage, most would give me a suggestion to put in a) an extension to the existing boiler rad circuit & electric water heaters...

Evening everyone, I’ve got this lovely little bungalow that I’m struggling to get my head around the heating on. It’s a F and E system with 8 radiators, and I’m not really very clued up on central heating, or even plumbing in general, but the whole set up seems quite odd. The pipe into the main...

Apologies in advance for the long explanation.. This morning, my boiler's pressure had dropped to 2 PSI, so I added water until it was sitting at 12 PSI (which it should be at). I checked on it again around 9 pm and it was sitting at 35 PSI!!! The relief valve had not blown. I drained a bunch...
