I understand what you're saying mate, but if people don't pay their bills then what do they expect?
if someone hasn't paid their mortgage and has had several opportunities to sort themselves out, then the line has to be drawn somewhere and although this isn't a nice way to do it, it does get results.
its not a nice thing to watch, I've seen it first hand when a neighbours business went bump and they came looking to cover his debts, it wasn't nice. But he did owe a lot of people a lot of money.
The way I see it is, why should someone be able to run up debts and not pay bills and continue their lifestyle, while the people who they owe money to will have their lives affected by the lost money??
Its not nice to see, but is an effective method and seems to work.
