Your 22mm pipeslice will work on old 3/4" anyway so why bother for all the times you will use it. Everyone to their own tho but i'd rather save my cash for a decent bit hilti kit that i don't really need either but looks and feels soooo much better :smile:

Buy all the tools you can get. Tools are good but only if they cost £4-500 a whack. They give you a buzz buying them. Then straight through everything with your new tools because they can. Direct is best and cheaper:lol:

I got my gloves today, thanks ray. They came at 8 this morning just as I was leaving, so I never had time to put them in the van, but I will definitely use them next week and post up a review. I got jammie dodgers with mine too :-)

I understand what you're saying mate, but if people don't pay their bills then what do they expect? if someone hasn't paid their mortgage and has had several opportunities to sort themselves out, then the line has to be drawn somewhere and although this isn't a nice way to do it, it does get results. its not a nice thing to watch, I've seen it first hand when a neighbours business went bump and they came looking to cover his debts, it wasn't nice. But he did owe a lot of people a lot of money. The way I see it is, why should someone be able to run up debts and not pay bills and continue their lifestyle, while the people who they owe money to will have their lives affected by the lost money?? Its not nice to see, but is an effective method and seems to work.

Agree. But the banks are partly to blame. By over lending to get there bonuses and should be held partly responsible. oh and how's that leg? Does it look like a chicken leg now?

We don't have warrant sales or bailiffs evicting people up in Scotland. That was outlawed 5 years ago. Everything is done through the courts. There isn't any excuse though for those not paying their bills if they have the means to do so, that's no better than theft and as tradesmen we'd hate that to happen to us.

As long as they've paid my bill I'm fine with that.
