switch water supply and tighten valve on pipe, olive will provide seal. use spanner and pliers. make sure pipe is clean in place where valve will be pushed on pipe. hope its a copper and not plastic :D

no problem. you can buy some descaling spray but i doubt you would have much success without removing some bits of the tap. if you know ta manufacturer you should be able to find manual or contact manufacturer :)

maybe you should invest in some longer lasting solution, however I would probably remove it, take it apart and leave it to descale. water and vinegar 1:1 works miracle, just takes some time

see how you get on after winter, for longer run you would probably save money on bills by getting new more efficient boiler. Note, i have nothing against some old boilers as they are good and reliable, unfortunately not as efficient as new ones.
