I haven't made a post since I've been a member which ain't related to work,so I thought I'd ask a off topic question. With the recent weather we have had, it's been nice to sit out in my garden in the evenings having a nice cold beer (Stella is always a favourite but I've started to enjoy ales)what's you guys an girls drink of choice?

Anything cold :)

But nothing alcoholic

I'm making an attempt at trying all the different I.P.A. (India Pale Ale) I can find. I'm doing this at a rate of "several" a week ;).

So far top favourites have been Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Proper Job, Bengal Lancer and La Gunitas.

Another one similar to IPA with all the amazing hoppy goodness is called Citra. Delicious citrus flavoured hops. Amazing!

I do like a proper job myself.

Well if you like that one you are a true lover of the highly hopped IPA flavour. That's a very strongly flavoured beer. My mouth is now watering thinking about it. I discovered the world of pale ale in America of all places a few years ago. I went there expecting to be drinking absolute rubbish like Miller Light and the admittedly refreshing but lacking in flavour Budweiser. Instead I found they'd gone mad for micro-brewery stuff and were making truly great ales. I don't know about draft because I only tend to drink bottled stuff but they really showed me some good beer there. That's where I first tried Sierra Nevada Pale Ale as it was their local brew. That started my love affair with ale and got me off the Grolsch.

We found a nice lager called Staropramen, while sat out at a riverside pub in Matlock bath last August bank holiday weekend, it went down a treat. Nobody could pronounce it so called it Straponman.:D:D
I'm into Desperado's now, refreshing and gets you hammered quicker.;)

Just started some new ones myself. Didn’t think I would like them. But they are awesome
