Hi there,
I need some expert advice. My current combi boiler (Potterton Puma 80e) is on it's last legs I fear, so I need to replace it, however I really have no idea what to look for. Basically I have a one bed flat with 1 bathroom and a total of 4 rads. Can anyone give me some advice as to what combi boiler would be good to go for for this size of property. I really would appreciate any advice offered.
Many thanks in advance
Cerpnjak

Hiya all, I'm a newbie here so Hello. Ferolli or Broag remeha are doing a 5yr warranty, makes sense to me to go for one of those. 24kw should suffice I guess.

vaillant are good for technical? takes forever to get thru on the phone!

If you are looking for a decent boiler with a budget price you cant beat baxi, if you want to pay a bit extra and get a good boiler go for a worcester bosch they are excellent

Worcester Bosch must be the most rated on the market due to the huge demand they are getting. 2 of my friends ONLY fit them as they believe they are excellent and the customers love them.

boilers are like light bulbs! some last five minutes some last 25 years. i dont recommend any make coz its bound to go t*ts up. i always ask if they want a make they've heard of. my very first worcester bosch went awol with a faulty circuit board within 24 hrs of commissioning it. glow worms have had a good record with 1 out of the last six having an ignition fault on it. that was a cracked porcelain on the ignition electrode so glowworm came and changed it.my view is if you a living with it or renting it out get a decent one. if you are selling the property get one from netto!( if they do em!)

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...

I want to reconnect some outbuildings to an existing water supply. The supply pipe is old 22mm MDPE and buried for a fair distance so not going to dig it up and replace it 😬. Question is can I use normal 22mm plumbing push-fit connectors to make the connection as finding 22mm MDPE fittings...

Hi, basic question, any insight much appreciated. Looking to have an outdoor tap in my front porch fed from 15mm pex coming up from suspended floor. Pic 1 is inside porch, pex temporarily clipped to give an idea of pipe placement (ignore shoddy blockwork of booted cowboy builder!), Pic 2 is...
