Recently I completed the complex cold water and domestic hot water units for the C&G 6035 Level 3 Diploma in Plumbing and was was told I wouldn't have to do the Water Regs and Unvented certificates because these tests covered them. This confused me because because I don't know what I would need to do in relation to certification, etc...

Not sure but will find out whether 6035 is fully aligned, if it is then you just need to show our C&G certs that cover these two areas.

Seems daft to me (with all due respect) this is just a college based qualification so you are likely to not have had any piratical experience in these two important areas of of our work & yet would be deemed competent !!!

Hi, Short version: Do frost protection valves trigger when the water in the pipe gets to threshold, or when the air temp drops? Long version: I'd rather use frost protection + anti-freeze cycle on my mitsubishi ecodan heat pump. The warranty is apparently fine with that combination, and it...
