Vented system hot water splutter

hi lads

Anyone could help me out with a hot water splutter?

Have got a vented system ( attic tank, 1st floor cylinder )

I would assume it's because of the vent, may be because air is being pulled in via the vent pipe.

What else could be the cause ?
Should I upgrade the vent pipe to solve the issue or will there be a different solution?

Try a piece of clingfilm over the end of the vent secured with an elastic band, does that cure the spluttering? If it does it is likely to be an air lock in the cold feed, blockage in the cold feed or undersized cold feed.

The real issue they've got, is the heating doesn't work because the plasterer took a rad off. He closed the thermostat side. He just did the return side life and pushed a new valve onto and tightened up.
He installed a adey filter and let one side closed so it started to kettle and boil. No heating lol

And that sums up what's wrong with the industry nowadays, plasterer trying to do plumbing ,!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I mean I got really shocked when he told me he just shuffed the valve onto the pipe and put a bin bag over to catch the water. Then he just tightened it.

Afterwards I was asking, what he usually does as I was looking for a good plasterer for long. So he mentioned, I am doing everything

Do I need to carry on .....
They may know few things and how to cover up but that's not a quality job is it pffffff

Sounds like a blocked feed for the heating. I usually check the pipe with a magnet. It can also happen on the vent pipe of the cylinder. Magnets are great

Re the hot water splutter, - Does the hot pipe from top of cylinder stay level or rise to the vent? If it has a high spot before vent then air will keep gathering
