Hi Guys,
Sorry for long post, getting really frustrated. Recently moved into a new build house with air source heat pump, ecodan kingspan cylinder and danfoss controls, well, for zone 2, the 1st and 2nd floor anyway. Now winter is coming we have been making sure we have everything set to heat the whole house, everything seems ok, except the ground floor, zone 1.
We have underfloor heating on the ground floor, 2 thermostats going to the cable box in the cupboard with the manifold, which has 2 actuators. The thermostat directly outside the cupboard is a dial and wired, and a digital rf thermostat in living room.
We assumed this meant that the ufh was split into 2 further zones. We used the digital thermostat to attempt to turn the heating on, it displayed that it was calling for heat, the receiver in the cupboard turned green, then nothing.
We set the wired thermostat, everything kicked in, both actuators opened. The digital one on its own does nothing.
Am I understanding the system wrong? Or is it safe to assume they were wired incorrectly?
